The influence of different types of admixtures on the performance of concrete


  1. After adding polycarboxylate superplasticizer, the overall performance of concrete is optimal, with a large initial slump and good flowability, which greatly improves the water retention performance and strength of the concrete mix.

  2. The flowability of concrete mix is significantly improved after adding water reducer. The expansion degree of concrete mix is also improved after adding expansion agent, and the improvement is more significant compared to the concrete mix with early strength agent added.

  3. Under the condition of adding admixtures, the setting time of concrete mix is significantly prolonged.

  4. Under the premise of consistent water-cement ratio, adding admixtures can significantly improve the early strength level of concrete mix.
