Polyether polyols

Product introduction

Polyether polyols are high molecular weight compounds featuring ether bonds (—R—O—R—) in their main chain and multiple hydroxyl groups (—OH) on terminal or side groups. They are synthesized through the ring-opening polymerization of olefin oxides—primarily propylene oxide, with ethylene oxide also used—initiated by low molecular weight polyols, polyamines, or active hydrogen-containing compounds in the presence of catalysts. Appearance: colorless, light yellow, or brown liquid.
