The amount of lithium silicate added to concrete

Dust on concrete floors, generated by regular traffic or low-quality construction, is a common problem in the industrial sector. The cement component is constantly subject to wear and tear, eventually causing large particles of aggregate to loosen on the surface of the concrete. This not only makes the floor unsightly, but also causes great harm to people and property.

lithium metasilicate liquid hardening (penetrating) agent works in two steps to eliminate dust in cement components, thereby improving the strength, durability and wear resistance of concrete floors.

First, the specially selected penetrating agent ensures that the product penetrates approximately 5cm into the concrete base surface;

Second, the lithium silicon soluble matter of the liquid hardening penetrant reacts with the free lime in the cement slurry to cause a secondary chemical reaction, causing the base surface to achieve a hardening effect within a certain period of time, thereby further enhancing the strength of the concrete floor. Compared with traditional sodium silicate and potassium silicate products, the biggest advantage of this product is that it reacts quickly with free calcium in concrete, taking only 7 days. It does not produce fine cracks and has excellent anti-fouling properties. It does not turn white after spraying on the ground and does not need to be washed with water.

The amount of Portland cement added to the mixture is >5% and ≤20%. This refers to active mixed materials. If you want to use inactive mixed materials, the added amount must be ≤8%. If kiln dust is added, the added amount must be ≤5%.
